ADHD – What Families Need To Know

Aaron Tabacco, RN, BSN, is a neurodevelopmental nurse specialist and researcher with expertise in family management of childhood Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) at the Child Development & Rehabilitation Center at OHSU. Aaron’s work is driven in part by his personal experiences as a father of adolescent sons who each live with ADHD.

Aaron’s presentation will include:

*The biological origins, treatment options and social difficulties of ADHD

*ADHD as a difference in executive functioning

*Parenting and advocating for your child with ADHD

Mid-morning special presentation:

Family Voices Project Impact: Your Child’s Health and Well-Being

Presenter Leslie Carroll, parent and Director of Family Voices Project Impact, will discuss resources and strategies that families can use to promote their children’s overall health and wellness.
